The Easy Way to Learn Chinese

There are a variety of methods available to learn the Chinese language. You must evaluate their pros and cons in relationship to your own situation. Let's look at the methods available today.

Classes at Local Educational Institutes

Although there are classes available at local educational institutes, it is often difficult to gain entrance. The demand has far exceeded the supply of qualified teachers. This means that if you are able to acquire a spot in the class, the chances of you having a high quality instructor have become significantly limited. Additionally, if the class is a part of your curriculum that goes toward a final grade you have the added pressure of scoring well to keep your grade point average up.

Audio/Video Training

There are some audio training lessons available that you can listen to on CD. These are good to an extent. However you do not have the ability to ask questions or to see the person that is instructing you. This may not seem like a problem, but when you are learning a foreign language it is easier to learn to form the words when you can watch the person's mouth that is teaching.

While video training is better than audio because you can watch the person that is teaching you, you still have the deficit of not being able to ask questions. The cost is often high due to the need to create the product and ship it. There is also the waiting time for shipment of materials.

Learning Online

Learning online is a great way to resolve all of these negative issues.
• The scoring will not affect your overall GPA.
• It will help prepare you to get a good grade in an educational institute setting.
• You can watch and hear the instructor and repeat the lessons as needed.
• There is usually support offered via the internet.
• The cost is economical.

The convenience and availability of online courses are the choice of many.
